BIOGRAPHY
I have been working with various NGOs for almost 5 years, primarily in community development. I have experience in, and carry out, diverse programs such as environmental education for children, solid waste, water supply and sanitation services for urban poor communities, participatory spatial planning for urban slum areas, economic development for tsunami affected communities, and agroforestry. I have expertise in community mobilizing, participatory action research, project management and development. While at University, I voluntarily participated in forest conservation activities such as research on community based forest management, organizing training workshops and student forums, and a field study at national park. In 2005, I had a remarkable experience learning about indigenous knowledge of communities for management of Mount Merapi conservation area. Those experiences were documented and analyzed in my thesis research and contributed to advocacy strategies in urging participation of local communities in Mount Merapi National Park management.

Currently, I am working with Mercy Corps Indonesia as project officer for SCALE Resilience/ API Perubahan program. It is a USAID-funded program to improve resiliency of populations vulnerable to natural hazards and the impacts of climate change through strengthening the capacity of government, civil society, and the private sector to reduce risks and adapt to climate change. I have primary responsibility to carry out program implementation in Jakarta, particularly advocacy and government liaison. I am responsible for ensuring multi stakeholders coordination at multiple levels in mainstreaming the climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction to develop and promote an integrated participatory model to increase resiliency in hazard-prone areas, especially urban areas. I work closely with various stakeholders with include:

•Provincial and municipality governments, such as Development Planning Agency, Environmental Management Agency, Disaster Management Agency, Climate Change National Council, etc.
•NGOs, such as MPBI, Indonesian Red Cross, etc.
•Private sector, such as Unilever.
•University of Indonesia.
•Local CBO.

I received my Bachelors degree on Forest Resource Conservation from Gadjah Mada University, Jogjakarta, Indonesia and participated on valuable trainings such as Watershed Management Field School (ESP-USAID and FIELD Indonesia Foundation, 2006), BEHAVE and LQSA Workshop (Mercy Corps, 2008), Coming to Consensus Training (IFN, 2008) and World Urban Forum 4 (UNHABITAT, 2008).
