Meetu Gupta

Meetu Gupta is currently a Secretary and Founder Member of the Conservation Core Society. This organization has been formed with an aim to facilitate better protection and conservation of wildlife in Chhattisgarh through research, documentation and publications and sensitizes the people towards wildlife conservation and environmental protection. She has done research studies related to conservation, development and sustainable development.

She also works as the Associate Editor for, which is a Hindi news portal that provides exclusive content of developmental issues. Meetu’s duties include copy editing and translation from English to Hindi, and regularly contributing over wildlife, mining and tribal issues.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the D.B. Science College, Gondia, Nagpur University. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Forestry, Wildlife & Environmental Sciences from the Guru Ghasida University, Bilaspur.
