Aliyu Ahmed

Aliyu Ahmed is the CEO of MESSRS AMD Global Resource, where he worked extensively on over 21 projects in environmental protection fields and sustainable development for more than 400 youths and women groups.

Currently he is also the National Coordinator for the Youth for Youths Leadership Initiative (YYLI), which he started working at since 2006. During his time at that position, he developed youth’s capacity in technical and vocational fields, positively helping over 400 rural and urban youths. He also carried out a “Clean Your Environment Initiative,” leading over 650 youths to participate in this event for the community.

He also served as Instructor in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from 2007-2008, where he mobilized funds for renovation of damaged schools, organized fellow corps members to clean up public facilities in the community, and allocated funds for public school improvement.

Aliyu attended the University of Ilorin in Nigeria and received a Bachelor of Science in Economics. In addition, he received numerous professional certifications, including Certificate in Data Processing and Management (2000), Professional Management Course Certification (2007), and Certificate in Enterprise Innovation Advance Management Course (2012).

His career is always taking initiative, and his colleagues noted that his environmental management, advocacy, and community development programs all were positive benefits for the poor and vulnerable.
