Divya Narain is currently a Senior Associate at the Environmental Management Centre in Mumbai. Since 2013, she has been responsible for managing the deployment of India’s first sustainability-focused e-learning portal (Ekolearning), creating and teaching an e-learning course on Biodiversity-Inclusive Environmental Impact Assessment in partnership with Bombay Natural History Society, coordinating and teaching a course on Environmental Management for students of MBA, and creating continuing education modules for AIT Consulting’s workshop on Green Technology, to name a few. In addition to her role as a Senior Associate, she is also an E-learning Consultant for Coastal and Marine Biodiversity through Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
In 2011, Divya received her Master of Science in Biodiversity Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford. Prior to this, she was involved in a Post Graduate Program in Forest Management at the Indian Institute of Forest Management in Bhopal.
The Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program will provide Divya with the international training and exposure she needs to take her career to the next level. She will be exposed to new ideas and dimensions in Sustainability policy and practice, allowing her to expand her understanding of sustainability.
