Ernestine Leikeki Sevidzem is currently a Social and Environment Legal Officer at Cameroon Gender and Environment Watch (CAMGEW). Under the same organization, Ernestine has also held the positions of Forest Legal Officer and a Volunteer Administrative Assistant.
Ernestine received her Bachelor of Science in Common Law from the University of Yaounde 2 in 2011. Prior to this, she received both an Ordinary Level General Certificate of Education and an Advanced Level General Certificate of Education from Government Bilingual High School in Cameroon.
Participation in the ELP with help Ernestine build her ability to promote community confidence, make better decisions that use participatory approach where forest stakeholders are brought to the table, and work to arrive at better conclusions that affect her community.
