Ibrahim Boubekri is a currently a PhD student at the University of Badji Mokhta in Algeria, and his past work experiences include work in a fisheries energy and an internship at the Institute of Science and Evolution at Universite Montpellier 2.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology from the University of Badji Mokhta in July of 2007, and is currently working on a PhD at the Laboratory of Ecobiology of Marine and Littoral Environment from the same university. The doctoral thesis that he is preparing for is on the Integrated Management of a Mediterranean Marine Protected Area: the case study of Taza MPA.
In his university studies he had been lauded as an individual with extensive scientific expertise that allows him to rank near the top of promotions. Ibrahim has dedicated countless hours to pursuing studies of the management of coastal environments, and he seeks to continue ecological conservation and habitat management once he completes his schooling.
