Joyce Brandao is currently a program manager at Fundacion Solidaridad LatinoAmericana, where she is focusing on Amazon Biome conservation and development. In the past, she worked in consulting for Association ProScience, where she did a technical study in the opportunities and challenges of ecological restoration chains in Brazil.
She received a degree in Forest Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo in June 2008. From September 2011 until August 2013, she worked as a Conservation Analyst at Environment and Agriculture Program, where she focused on themes in economic and financial instruments for conservation and forest restoration.
Joyce also worked as a consultant for many other organizations in her prior experiences. From 2010 to 2011 she worked as a consultant for the environmental secretary of Sao Paulo State, where she assessed the impacts of riparian forests public policy. Also, she served as consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization where she designed institutions map for technical cooperation.
