Manas Dwivedi is currently employed at the United Nations Development Programme- (UNDP India) Energy & Environment Unit. He is responsible for effective implementation of the project activities ensuring that the project delivers on its outputs and within the financial allocations. He also provided technical support to the state level hazard risk vulnerability and capacity assessment of Himachal Pradesh, India.
He earned his Master of Science in Disaster Mitigation from the Sikkim Manipal University of Health. He was selected for a Croucher Summer Course in 2015 on Research Methodology for Disaster and Humanitarian Response organized by the Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and Chinese University of Hong Kong for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response at Hong Kong.
He has worked as a junior consultant for the National Institute of Disaster Management, where he held responsibility in providing technical support for curriculum development. He also assisted in the preparation of training modules, assisted in preparation of disaster management plans, and undertook capacity building and awareness generation activities.
