Your Support Helps the Planet

For twenty years, the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program has been training and supporting environmental leaders from around the world. A core component of our program is and always has been to make the world-class education of UC Berkeley available to professionals from all backgrounds and areas; this diversity of participants in turn enriches the diversity of thoughts and perspectives within the program. Participants go on to make a difference in their countries and communities, creating lasting change on a local and global level. To date, we have had 757 participants from over 114 countries.

The continued success of the program is thanks to people like you—people who are passionate about the environment and positive change. You can have a deep and lasting impact by sponsoring program participants through one-time gifts, scholarships, or endowment support.

How Your Help Can Make a Difference

Support Outstanding Candidates: Let us identify extraordinary professionals with limited resources whose work furthers your vision and creates the impact you want to see in a particular region or sector. Whether through an annual scholarship or a one-time gift, know that your contribution today makes transformational change possible tomorrow.

Sponsor an Event, Workshop, or Field Trip: Contribute to increased academic excellence and access to the most critical and relevant industry tools and skills.

Build our Endowment: Work with us toward our goal of supporting 50% of the cohort through endowment to ensure this opportunity remains widely accessible. Learn more here.

Create an Institutional Tie: Partner with the Beahrs ELP to provide leadership training for your organization or sponsor employees as participants.

Continue the Journey: Support post-training collaborative projects between our alumni, their organizations, and UC Berkeley that focus on issues like conservation, climate smart agriculture, and sustainable energy.

Come Meet our Fellows and Connect with Global Change

Meet the fellows and their cohort, discuss their projects, and follow their progress throughout the program from the July welcoming reception to the certificate ceremony. On behalf of the Rausser College of Natural Resources, we look forward to seeing you there.
